Q2 2025 Volume 2, Issue 2
New quarter, who dis?
Somehow, it’s already Q3, which feels impossible given that Q1 was approximately 12 minutes ago. And yet here we are, halfway through 2025—only slightly sunburned, marginally over-caffeinated, and sending fewer replies that open with, “Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!”
Okay, maybe not all of us… but between product updates, hitting our top ten, launching podcasts, schmoozing at HFMA, prepping for pizza reviews and performance slices… there’s plenty to catch up on!

Pulse Survey: HEY, THANKS!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who completed our Pulse Survey (even if you only did it for the wheel—we see you). Your honest feedback helps us spot what’s working well and what could use some love. We’ve already begun digging into the results and plan to share high-level findings later this month, so stay tuned. As always, thanks for keeping it real with us.
Mid-year Reviews are Coming Up
Our August review cycle kicks off next week! Here’s what to expect:
- • Been here 90 days by August 1? You’re in!
- • You’ll have up to four peer reviews to accept (because nobody has time for seven).
- • It all kicks off on July 22, with results landing in early September.
Chi-Town, Here We Come!
Get hyped, Turquees! Our Q3 Summit, aka Priceapalooza, takes us to Chicago from August 4–7! Want to stay up on the agenda? Excited to scoop up some summit gear? Have a song stuck in your head you want to add to the shared playlist? Scan the QR code below (or just click this link...), for all that and more!
If anything comes up or you have questions at all, please reach out to Melinda. SEE YOU SOON!

Current Diversity Metrics
Our representation stats are benchmarked against the latest data on the U.S. employed labor force, rather than the broader U.S. population or the tech industry alone. This approach sets more ambitious targets, but we’ve done so intentionally—striving for our team to reflect the diversity of the people our products ultimately serve.
Each quarter, we’ll share the following representation metrics to keep you informed of how we’re progressing on team diversity.

#product_updates: Proof We Weren’t Just in Meetings
Big ups to every team that made this quarter’s releases possible. From engineers and product managers to designers and customer champions, your work pushed us closer to a world where price transparency isn’t a mythical beast.
Here’s just a sample of the shiny new things we’re launching (check #product_updates if you’re into spoilers):
#sports: Where Turquees Go Pro (or at least spectate loudly)
This quarter, we hit the stands, the stadiums, and the motivational speaking circuit. Some of us even wore sunscreen.

Elijah scored a seat to hear the legendary Coach K drop some wisdom on life and leadership.

Katie got to see the Brave's snag their second W of the season.

Scott saw his dad’s favorite soccer team play in Rio. At the Maracanã. Casual.

Mark flew to LA to watch the USWNT take on Brazil in a gold medal rematch (no big deal)
In Your Ears and On Your Mind
Podcast season is upon us, and we've been tuning in, zoning out, and sharing the good stuff in #podcasts. Highlights include:
-
Freakonomics: A deep dive into sludge (yes, that’s a real topic)
-
Odd Lots: Because who doesn’t want to restructure U.S. debt in their free time?
-
Turquoise Noise: Our very own internal pod! If you haven’t hit play yet… what are you even doing?
Emoji Overload 🤪
TOP 2 slack channels with the most emoji reactions this quarter were where the deals get sealed and the meetings get booked: #sales-meetings-booked with 5,360 reactions and #deal-wins with 4,626 🙌

Welcome to your quarterly dose of “wait, that’s a thing?” Productivity tips handpicked to help you reclaim your inbox, sort out your calendar, and potentially look mildly impressive in a meeting. Because clicking less is the dream.
Chrome: DON'T TAB SHAME ME
Are you the proud parent of 37 open tabs across three Chrome windows? Do you vaguely remember opening a pricing deck last Thursday but can’t find it under the mountain of calendar invites and Notion docs? We see you. We are you.
Behold: Tab Groups.Tab Groups let you organize related Chrome tabs into collapsible, color-coded clusters. S o instead of horizontal mayhem, you get neat little folders of focus. Fun!
- How to use them:
1. Right-click any tab
2. Select “Add tab to new group”
3. Name your group and pick a color (express yourself!)
4. Drag other tabs into that group
5. Collapse/expand at will with a single click
6. (Pro Tip) Right-click the group name and select “Save group” so you can reopen all of them in the future with the click of a button!
Got your own browser trick that’s changed your workflow? DM the People team or drop it in Slack! We may just include it in a future Power Tools edition (and shout you out like the hero you are).

Share your candid thoughts on benefits and stipends, internal processes (e.g. performance reviews), DEIB, hiring, engagement, or truly anything else on your mind! Feedback is anonymous and is reviewed by the People team at the beginning of each quarter.
